Is there a booking deposit payable?
Yes, once you have decided to reserve one of our properties you will need to send us a £250 deposit to secure your booking. Once we have received this from you the property is reserved for the weeks specified. The deposit is not refundable if you should need to cancel your reservation.

When do I need to pay the balance of the monies owed?
The balance of the monies owed, which will include the damage deposit is to be paid 6 weeks before your arrival date. It can be lodged directly to our account, in either EUR or GBP or sent to us by cheque.

Do I need to pay a damage deposit?

Yes, a EUR 200 security deposit is payable to pay for any damage that may be done to the property during your stay. It is not applied to normal wear and tear, and is fully refundable at the end of your stay if no damage has been incurred.

Do I need to pay for bed linen?
Yes, we do charge for the hire of bed linen. The charge is EUR 10 per person. The linen includes flat sheet, duvet cover, two pillow covers per person.

Are the houses fully equipped for children?
We have travel cots and high chairs available to hire on request. A travel cot is EUR 20 per hire and the high chair is EUR 10.

Is the swimming pool fenced off?
The pool in both Le Hameau des Abeilles and Les Landes are fully fenced off with a gate that is kept closed at all times. The closing of the gate is automatic and we recommend that children are supervised at all times.

Where is the nearest doctor and hospital?
There are several excellent doctors in La Coquille which is only a 3 minute drive from the houses. There are superb hospitals in Limoges and Perigeuex which are both a 40 minute drive away.

Is there an additional charge for gas, electricity or wood?
No these are all included in your rent. However, barbeque fuel is not provided. It is available to buy in the local supermarket – Shopi which is in La Coquiile. Electricity charges are not included on long winter lettings.

Is there a minimum reservation period?

Yes, during the period from June to September the minimum let is one week, with arrivals at 3pm and departures at 10am on a Saturday. We do accept one week lettings at all times throughout the summer. At any other times prices are on request.

Do I need to clean the property on leaving?

Yes, the houses are clean when you arrive and should be left in the same condition. However, we can provide a cleaner for you at a charge of EUR 50. If you do not avail of a cleaner and you do not leave the property in a satisfactory condition this amount will be deducted from your security deposit before refund.

Do you have bikes available?
It is possible to hire bikes at La Coquille. Baby seats for the bikes are also available.

Do I need to insure my personal items?

Our insurance covers the houses and personal liability. Your own personal belongings should be covered under your home policy but this is worth checking out before you leave home.

Is there a DVD player in the house?
Yes, there is a TV/DVD player in the houses so feel free to bring along your DVDs.
